A Personal Trainer for your puppy. Aimed at puppies from 8 to 15 weeks at the start of the package, the Puppy Home Train package gives you the opportunity to have a qualified, experienced trainer work one-to-one with your pup in their own home, when you have to work or just can’t be there, with feedback and discussion to ensure you’re all on track for a well trained pup.

One-to-one training is a great way to get custom tailored support for you and your pup, but sometimes, life is hectic, and fitting everything in can be tricky. We all know those first few weeks and months are the peak learning period for your new addition, but we also know there are only so many hours in the day for one person to manage … especially with a new puppy in the mix. So let me help you out!
The Puppy Home Train package gives you the opportunity to have a qualified, experienced trainer work one-to-one with your pup in their own home, when you have to work, or you just can’t be there. Imagine, your very own Puppy PT. This training package includes homework sheets and a handover, so you can keep up with the training yourself in between scheduled training and can continue as your puppy grows. Aimed at puppies from 8 to 15 weeks at the start of the package, sessions are individually tailored so that your puppy can get started on training as soon as they join the family.
What’s covered?
Depending on your needs, I can work with your puppy on foundation training basics such as mat training, learning to settle, leave, recall, learning to walk on lead, help with toilet training, surviving chewing and teething. I can also help with early stage socialisation, and/or can progress to outdoor socialisation as your puppy completes their vaccinations and can head further afield. There are lots of options, but after discussion, we can narrow it down to the training that will be most beneficial for your family and your puppy!
What’s included?
The Puppy Home Train package includes:
1 x 90min initial consultation and training session with you, your pup, and all the family. During this session, we’ll discuss your training priorities and make sure we’re all on the same track
6 x 60min Puppy Home Train sessions; your pup gets individual, tailored training directly with me
Homework sheet after every Home Train session
Handover one-to-one training session with your household at the end of the package
Access to Ruffmutz Online Puppy Portal for our quick start resources, which includes information on lots of common puppy challenges
WhatsApp support throughout, from the initial consult to your final handover
Extra Home Train sessions can be purchased at the end of your package, and additional face to face one-to-one sessions can be added at any time.
Please note: Sessions can be taken up to twice a week, subject to booking availability, but the package must be finished by the time your pup is 6 months old. This package is not suitable for dogs over 20 weeks/5 months old; if your pup is above this age, please contact me to discuss your training needs and we can create a more appropriate custom training option for you.
