Initial behaviour session

Struggling with your dogs behaviour and need some help to get back on track?

This session is done in home and allows plenty of time to chat through all your concerns, take a look at exactly what’s going on, and get the first steps of your training plan in place for you to work on after the session. The session is designed for people looking to make a start on issues such as reactivity, fears and phobias, resource guarding, anxiety, traffic chasing, handling & grooming issues, aggression and many more. There will be a questionnaire for you to complete and a short form for your vet that both need completing and returning at least a week before your session date. Management will be discussed prior to the visit to ensure the safety of everyone including your dog.

You MUST tell us prior to booking any sessions if your dog has ever bitten or tried to bite either yourself, anyone else or any animals, either in public or at home so we can ensure all appropriate safety measures are taken to keep everyone safe.

These sessions usually last a minimum of 90 minutes and sometimes much longer depending on what’s needed and how your dog is coping. We have a fixed fee for our initial session as we don’t want anyone feeling rushed.
